Lying down on my bed and focusing only on breathing air. When I get dragged away by thoughts, as I always do, I just focus again on breathing. I just do that over and over and over. Pretty soon, I feel better.

Who is your favorite painter of all time?

I felt great yesterday morning for maybe 45 minutes or so. That quickly ended.

Have you ever been to a tropical island before?

Hard question. I can't think of a living person I'd flirt with whose main occupation is writer, but I would flirt with comedians Steve Martin and Bill Murray, who have written books. I am quite into comedians, and they are writers, of sorts. I don't think Dave Chappelle has written a book, but I would LOVE to flirt with him. Great storyteller! Right up my alley!

Frankly, I flirt with many men many places I go.

Q: What type of comedy do you like most? If you can't identify a specific type, what comedy show or movie did you laugh at most?

Both. But I do better with recipes, for the most part. I do notice a lot of the chefs on the cooking shows do not follow recipes--they just grab stuff and throw it in the pan.

Do you believe omega 3s help with bipolar stuff?

Different places from over the years--skiing in Mt. Hood with the snow silently falling, a tiny beach on the island of St. Bart's, called Flamands, the Oregon Coast, or anywhere in Hawaii.

Are you afraid fo sharks?

I am! An early memory of mine was of an afternoon when I was with my parents at Stinson Beach (just north of San Francisco). I was 4 years old. Suddenly there was a rescue engine and an ambulance. My dad asked around and a cop told him that a man had been surfing when he was bitten by a shark. Unfortunately, the man died. The memory has stuck with me.

Have you ever been roller skating?

When I was young, yes. 5 days a week for 12 years (during the season, not year-round). Yup, grew up skating (back when skating figures was part of the sport).

Have you ever run hurdles?

I ran the 400 IM in high school. I was decent, but not awesome at it.

Have you ever been mugged or thought you were about to be mugged?

No. I don't even think I have ever even read fanfiction. I couldn't even name an example of any.
