Has anyone had QT changes to their ECG? Usually caused by use of Seroquel.
Any experience? I’m particularly interested in how they were prevented or treated without stopping the Seroquel.

I had Qt changes thanks to Amoxapine, but we had to stop it. Maybe a lower dose will help?

No, but I definitely think most people (on or off medications) should have an ECG regularly as part of a regular physical and exam.
I've never heard of Seroquel being notorious for this issue, but am not saying it's totally rare. The medication I know is notorious is Geodon (ziprasidone). I was on 160 mg of Geodon (a high dose) for about six years and never had heart issues from it. I did have more ECG's during my treatment on that medication than I do now on my current mix, where Seroquel XR is my primary antipsychotic. |
