I FEEL ALIVE!!!

I don't know if this is a spiritual high (Ive been actively seeking GOD and practicing my faith) OORRRRR if maybe I am experiencing some mood disturbance lol I have been up since 6:30 am. After work I went to a friend's house I am dog sitting for this weekend. Then I went to Walmart and the coffee shop (did NOT spend excessive amounts of money!!!) THEN I came home, cooked dinner (gave my neighbor some), cleaned my room, cleaned the litterbox, did some laundry, did dishes, took out trash, more laundry, cleaned around bathroom, went to store for Granny, visited a friends house and I am watching tv while laundry is finishing up. I feel high on life. Maybe it IS a spiritual high??! Orrrrrrrrrrrr what do you think? I am feeling amazing but I am also afraid of a possible crash.

What do you think????

Hi Halliebeth,

I don't know what's going on for you.

Is this similar to what you experience with a mood change?

I'd be inclined to say this looks like a mood shift because you are reaching out and wondering.

I hope you will come to an understanding of whatever is going on for you and will know what to do to keep things on track.

Sounds like you may be headed for mania. I let mine get away with me last time- maybe you are ramping up toward mania.

Or it could have just been a productive day. I’m hoping that’s it !

That was my thought...a normal, productive day. Long term depression can make normal feel wonderful.

I was also going to say it sounds like a productive day, just keep an eye on things like sleep and whatnot but it's good you're feeling well

Do you journal? If you do, can you look at your past entries to see how your feelings now compare to your manic feelings in the past? That may help you objectively figure out if you just had a good, productive day or if you’re heading toward mania.

If you don’t journal, I recommend starting now so that you can have something to look back at in the future.

Also, I think you have posted on here when you’ve been manic, so maybe review your past threads/posts if you don’t journal?

Good luck

How are you feeling today, Halliebeth?

I like bluebicyle's journaling idea. That can really provide some perspective.

I am glad you had a great day. We all need those every now and again. I also agree with Bluebicycle on the journal.

Any racing thoughts?
