I’ve learned that not every change in mood/emotion/feeling is bipolar, but sometimes just a natural fluctuation or a natural response to something, which normal people get too.

I’ve also learned that there will always be someone out there who cares about you, even if the person happens to be a random internet stranger. Internet strangers care too.

The most important thing has definitely been that there are a lot of wonderful people in the world.

I've learn a lot. I've learned a lot about other people's experiences. Some I can very much relate to, and others are quite unique. The latter certainly sold me on the "bipolar spectrum" idea.

I’ve learned so much from this forum and not always about bipolar disorder. When I needed to have a nerve test for carpal tunnel, I was scared. I brought it up here and got several responses letting me know what to expect.

I’ve also learned a lot about the spectrum of bipolar symptoms...some the same and some vastly different from mine.

Mostly, I’ve learned that I’m not alone. These wonderful folks get it when people close to me irl can’t or won’t.

That being bipolar isn't the end of the world.

And that if I get can through a hard day and support someone else, it was a good day.

I learned enormous amounts of real life “ Bipolar “ in the first month of finding PC and still learning more

I also really appreciate getting help/ support and sometimes a swift kick in the arse when I’m being ridiculous and seeing things only in black and white.

I have friends all around the world. Huge thanks to DocJohn who decided 20 years ago to start a website that is free to anyone, a place to find true information and support.

I have learned so much about the creative ways everyone copes. I have learned that the PC family is a strong group of individuals who know how to rally and support one another through the ups and even the darkest of downs. I have learned that I can be honest here and I will be accepted.
