Me (from several members on this forum): There is a difference between mood fluctuations and emotional fluctuations. Not every fluctuation you experience is a mood fluctuation. Sometimes we're just emotional, and that's okay.

perhaps less about bp, more about life:

someone once told me the following

life isn't about getting to the end with a healthy body and healthy mind, it's about being pushed in to your grave backwards all the time screaming... wow, what a ride!

but I guess pacifically about bipolar, when I was being mentored by bipolar UK, I always baught up the subject of feeling guilty I didn't do much with my day

and I was always told... just do what you can manage. it doesn't make you weak, or worthless, tomorrow is a new day

Bipolar illness is almost never static. It can change over the years.

Way true for me.

Not to let it bother me if anyone claims that I'm "frequently jumping from one medication to another", because that's their lack of BD knowledge. In truth, people with bipolar disorder often having to adjust meds for a variety of reasons.

My mom told me it wasn't her mind or her emotions that were broken. It was her heart. She put hers back together on her own. The same was true for me. Mine was shattered. It is one now.

Not everything is BP. A social worker in a hospital told me that. It took me years to get it.

From my t: treatment is holistic. It consists of meds, t, food, and exercise, taking care of your Mind and body. That said, she is extremely compassionate when I’m falling apart and can’t do it all.
