It's PsychCentral's 25th anniversary!
I've been here for 12 of those years. So about half of those years. Its also the 25th anniversary of my wedding- well in May it will be- but don't congratulate me just yet- I got divorced after 8 years of marriage. BUT that just shows how time flies! This year, my kids will turn 23, 21, and 19. How many years have you been with PC?

IN may it will be 10 years. I've so stabilized over that time in part thanks to PC.

I literally do not believe I would have survived my big SI period in the autumn had I not found PC and all these incredible human beings. Thanks, PC!!!

Wow, 25 years! Plenty of people didn't even have home computers back then.
Like you, Moose, I signed up for PC mannny years ago, don't remember my user name or password at all. I don't even remember how active I was, or how long I stuck around. As I recall, I wasn't very active. Now I've been on PC...I think for 7 months. Wild, how fast time goes. I've been married for 38 years, my daughter is 34, son is 31. I get kinda freaked out when I think of time passing so rapidly, so I try not to dwell on it. btw, PC is helping me immensely. It's a 24/7 support group.

I've been here almost a year. I feel like I finally found people who understand me. I've made some really great friends and I have learned a ton. You guys are what makes PC so valuable. Thank you to you all. And... Thanks to all of the people who work to keep things running and civil around here. You are appreciated.

According to the site, I signed up here about 8 years ago, but I believe I have only been consistently active here for the last 3 or 4. I'm not sure why I stepped away back then. I was active on a handful of other sites in the past, one I was involved with as a moderator.
Many of the other sites I referenced have lost members or even shut down. It is a testament to PC's quality how it has remained vibrant and a nice community. That's why it has been my only mental health forum for these past couple years. |

My ticker says I've been here 10 years. I'm pretty sure it's actually been a little longer than that but the next interval is probably 15 years. I don't think I've been here quite that many. In the end, as it always seems to come up, I don't actually know thanks to years of ECT. That just helps me live in the present, so not necessarily a bad thing.

I have been here since July 2017 and am happy here! I have made lots of wonderful friends and we share hard times and the good ones! I am grateful for Psych Central and have posted about it on my daily gratitude.
