I feel like Napoleon Dynamite is an accurate description for my mood. He's so lax and such a dork.

Combination of Johnny Depp's Thompson in Fear and Loathing and Eeyore. Always, Eeyore.

@TishaBuv @Fuzzybear @bpcyclist: there is a great quote about Eeyore that tho he is depressed his friends still include him in their adventures and they never ask him to change. I like that last part. We're all taking spaz attacks to be undepressed we never think to just accept it and be Eeyore. I see myself in Eeyore too. So there's four of us now.

@bpcyclist: What do you think of my seeing myself as Geoffrey Day in "Infinite Jest"? He's the academic at Ennet house who keeps trying to get kicked out so he can say he didn't quit and can go back to being all isolated off inside himself. It reminds me of day hospital where i actually succeeded in getting kicked out.

That is an interesting parallel, whatever. Do you like or dislike AA platitudes? I seem to remember he was not a fan. I think he liked Quaaludes, too, but--oh well...

What a book. Just incredible. But like I said to you before, I almost like parts of The Pale King even better. So ridiculously ridiculous and hilarious. Could not stop laughing.

@bpcyclist: Yes, Geoffrey Day had a taste for fine Chianti and mild sedatives. Yes, he also ridiculed the AA platitudes and said they were asked to stagger around with arms straight out in front of themselves bleating the truisms. Myself, i like "One Day at a Time."

This won't likely mean anything to anyone. But I always identified with the character "Noodles" (played by Robert De Niro) in the old movie "Once Upon a Time in America" also starring James Woods & Elizabeth McGovern

I’m pretty much the opposite of that..

Sure I get irritated like the “best” of them

But usually it’s kinder and “healthier” to stuff it

I don’t have time to watch tv so I’m drawing a blank here.
