My therapist said that I should go outside more often (since I go out only once every 2 weeks). She says that I need to change up my environment to reduce the severity of symptoms, or at least to take the edge off.

How often do you go outside?

when I need to.

I'm agoraphobic, and where possible try to avoid the outdoors. I need to for like appointments, or to go to the library, or to get groceries (so I suppose maybe a few times a month), but nothing that's not needed.

I sit outside because there's a nice area outside my apartment complex for that and it's nice when the sun is out. Other than that I go out for groceries or to pick up my medication. But before the virus I would be out quite a bit, taking walks almost everyday.

With hubby home, we have been taking short walks almost every day unless the weather is really bad. Others in my area have the same idea. Lots of walkers and bicyclists!

I have tried to keep grocery and pharmacy shopping to a minimum (once per week) because hubby wants me to wear a mask, which is uncomfortable. [Steams up glasses and is generally hot, because I breathe fire like a dragon.] I don't mind wearing the vinyl gloves. In fact, I sort of like the vinyl gloves. It makes opening those produce bags easier.

We have started ordering groceries online.

At least once a day, and usually two or three times. It depends on how much energy I have that day.

I go outside every day minimum sometimes more. I open my window to allow fresh air to flow through my apt. I go for walks outside. I enjoy being out doors.

I've been taking a short drive every morning. I open my sunroof, turn on music, and just drive through some neighborhoods and look at the spring flowers.

I would love to take a walk, but the issue with my achilles tendon doesn't allow me to walk more than a very short distance.

I typically take our dog out for one walk a day. (My spouse takes him the other.) That's pretty-much it.

I live near a state park and we go and walk the dogs there every day we possibly can. It's become a much-anticipated part of the day for dogs and humans alike. If they close our state parks I will be so disappointed. So far they haven't and say they won't as long as people follow social distancing.

I go out once a day to fetch the mail and newspapers from across the street. It's just now starting to get warm. So soon we can sit on the deck.

I take the dog out morning and evening, and go out for myself in between almost religiously. Sometimes -often- I don't want to but I can see that it's good for me. When I'm doing minimal time with the dog and neglecting my own time my mental state suffers.

Like to get outside to walk my dog 30 minutes or more. If weather allows also do yard work since good exercise and helps reduce stress.

Most days. Just for the fresh air really. Not extensively, even a small amount of time is helpful. Might be a little walk around the neighborhood, or more likely hanging out on the porch.

I walked yesterday- it was 63 degrees!- and today- its 65! Its been sunny both days. Yesterday, I walked alone and today N3 was ahead of me. So many people were out walking in my mom's neighborhood both days. The flowers are up and the bushes are flowering too. Its looking and feeling more like May than the beginning of April!

N3 worked from 5-2 today. That's great! I think they like him there to give him that many hours. Of course, other days like tomorrow (Saturday) they might not give him his full shift. Saturdays have become weird like that.
