I wish I hadn't posted one of my threads. I might ask the mods to delete it.
Does this ever happen to you? __________________ |

Pretty much every time I post. Part of the illness telling me I'm worthless, I suppose.

Yes, it happens to me a lot. Or what happens even more often is me wanting to edit a lot of what I wrote, either for length, fixing typos, or content (regretful sentences or desired additions). Often people quote my earlier versions while I'm in the midst of editing. C'est la vie!
My posts are often lengthy. It's difficult for me to curb because writing and talking are pleasurable activities for me. Stress relievers! I understand if/when some members skim or even skip over certain posts of mine. It isn't hurtful to me. Sometimes I'm just grateful for the space. I understand when posts are overwhelming. I understand that I occasionally rub some people the wrong way. You definitely have the right to ask a mod to delete a thread of yours, but you never know if someone will soon before post a response that makes you change your mind. Just a thought. |

I always feel like that but I avoid editing and deleting posts because it feels like I'm deleting the seriousness of this disease.

Maybe the posts I make that make me the most uncomfortable are the very ones I ''should'' leave up, idk... a bit like in therapy we are supposed to talk about difficult stuff... (not that pc is only to talk about difficult stuff of course, but it seems like therapy is... __________________ |

I almost never post my own threads anymore. And on the rare occasion I do, they're not of a personal nature. Whenever I used to, in the past, I always regretted it later on... sort of like a one-night-stand you wish hadn't happened...

Sometimes I say dumb s*** in a post and want to delete it, but then 3 hours passes by and I cannot delete it.
I have been saying weird s*** lately IRL and on here (apparently). Makes me feel bad about myself. |

Been there for sure. I think we all judge ourselves more than others judge us. I enjoy your threads Fuzzy.

I don't do this super often but every now and then I post something and then realize I didn't want to share it, and the 4 hour mark has passed so I cant delete it. Sometimes I ask the mods to remove it or edit it for me.
I used to have this problem more often in the past but over the years I have taken more time to think about how I want to respond or reply to things. Less reactive more responsive. __________________ What if I fall? Oh, my dear, but what if you fly?
