First, I know there was some concern people on SSI wouldn't get it. They will.
Second, this article describes something that people on SSI (but not SSDI or SS retirement) need to do to get paid quickly (?). It's near the end that it states it is for SSI. Stimulus checks: IRS unveils new website to sign up for payments
