I read in an article in psychologogytoday.com dated 8/31/17. I came by it today. It said that eyes in mania glisten, they enlarge in their shape and changes in the brows( distance between the brows and the eyes ) and the pupils changing size. I think that means getting larger. What do you think?

Yes I've heard that before. Click on my bipolar blog link in my signature and search "eyes mania". I think I have a couple posts about this subject.

I vote yes! I've seen photos of myself while manic, and I've seen others manic - no doubt about the eyes. One guy I knew, his eyes looked past the point of manic...he looked scary. It was disturbing. Most people I've noticed just looked very alert and intense.

Yes. My husband always notices a change in my eyes. Anytime my pupils dilate he becomes concerned.

I don't blink at all. My eyes are wide. They change colour and shape. These are observations by others in the mental health field

I see mania can most definitely cause changes in the eyes. Color, shape, pupil dilating bigtime. In retrospect not surprised since our eyes are the windows of our souls . Or to be less mystic the reflection of our cerebrum., ie frontal lobes and our limbic thalmus system.

My husband says yes. We discussed this as a group before and several articles supported it.
