Between rent, utilities, and fun things I bought for myself/others (e.g., bike for me, bike for my dad, bike accessories, bike clothing, etc.), I spent roughly $8000 this month. EIGHT THOUSAND DOLLARS. My previous "record" was $4000. I normally keep it to $2000 a month between rent, fun stuff, and utilities. (Rent is expensive here.)

I don't feel hypomanic or manic, but who knows. I slept fine last night... from 6pm until 4am. However, I missed my med doses last night despite having an alarm on my phone because I stupidly forgot to take my phone off silent mode. (So basically, I had it on a pillow and the pillow obviously dampens the vibration sounds.) But yeah, sleep is erratic, but overall, I'm getting an adequate amount of sleep.

I've just had an obsession with biking again and I went out and bought a ton of crap. I also bought tons of gifts for my parents and they said to stop.

I have difficulties concentrating at work because I'm focused on buying things, but that could just be my ADHD. I am super distractible. All I want to do is talk to people instead, so I blow up everyone's phones with texts, calls, etc.. It might be because I really dislike my job right now and don't want to do anything, though.

I would say it is a possibility for sure. I think all of the things you are focused on are great in theory, but they are occuring in an unbalanced state which is the concern.

Buying things for something you're passionate about is great, but not if it puts you in debt or makes people uncomfortable or lies well outside your known budget.

Talking to people instead of working is ok once in a while, but not when you have been having issues at work. You've been in a bit of hot water there lately and your manager has already mentioned your rate of production. You haven't explained the circumstances, so a repeated lack of production could turn into grounds for termination. You have mentioned before you work slower than others. ADHD issues that force you to read something a few times are different than choosing not to work because you find greater pleasure in other activities.

Missing med doses for you usually results in this kind of post and behavior. Its a pattern. The cause may be hypomania or ADHD or whatever, but I think its important to address it.

Not everything is bipolar sometimes it's just being human. From the things you've said about yourself on here it sounds like your base is spending money. You're always online shopping it sound like its part of who you are.

I think it is a possibility too. The amount of money is well in excess of your normal pattern, feelilng that "obsession" feeling, blowing up people's phones and having given your parents so much stuff they felt the need to tell you to stop are all outside your stable zone. These may not be enough on their own, but they are factors well worth keeping an eye on.

I'd say keep an eye on it.

Sounds a bit concerning, blue. I once bought five guitars online in two days without telling anyone or discussing it. I was floridly manic and then, psychotic, within a week. Just sayin'...

How are you going to pay for all these things you've bought if you don't have a job? If your boss decides you aren't pulling your weight again? I'd watch very closely what's going on with you because you could easily slip into mania. I have noticed that you like buying things online. I like getting things delivered to me, too. I buy something from Amazon pretty regularly, but I don't buy expensive things and right now I don't have anything on its way.

I think I would put a stop to buying anything besides your bills and food for at least 30 days... Can you print out a copy of your bank account and credit card activity? So if you see something online you want..Stop and look at your accounts first.... It might help you stop and think if its something you "need" or is it a "want" .

Of course delete any saved payment online.
