I like to study religions, but I do not follow any of them. Large systems all carry corruption in one form or another, so I parse out what resonates as truth and leave the rest. I am very spiritual.

yes- but like journalling, I just can't be bothered with it after a while. I think I did it for like a week? (if that)

how is your focus. when you start something, do you intend to finish it?, or lose interest super quickly

Either could apply, depending on my mood and other factors. When I am on a roll, I can truly stick with things, but sometimes it can be hard to get the roll going.

Do you know how to drive a car with manual transmission (stick shift)?

It hasn't fit me in 16 years, but I have a particular pair of jeans that I bought about 25 years ago that I have always kept. They are one of the few nostalgia items I have. I would need to lose at least 25 more pounds to fit into them. I was quite slim back then. There is a nice memory associated with them.

What hobby do you have that helps take your mind off of negative issues?

Playing musical instruments. I can play trombone, piano, am learning guitar, and when I've learned guitar I'll pick up violin.

You're walking down your version of a perfect path through the woods. Describe it.

deserted. a few birds singing in the trees, and the smell of lavender in the air. weather isn't hot or cold, but dry and cool. now and then their's a bench placed off to the side to rest, and at the end of the path their is a swing/ small cottage (which also serves as a resting place)

when was the last time that you went out for a social ocasionn? (out with friends, for a meal,) therapy/ appointments don't count

Do you answer spam/scam calls? How do you handle them?

Our land line gets several per day. I used to say stuff to them, but now I just hang up. I also hang up when actual non-profit telemarketers call. It's too much to have to apologize for not contributing, etc, etc. We have our phone number on a Do Not Call List, but that means nothing to the scammer. Nothing. I also don't even reply to robo type calls that claim to be surveys, or the like. Many times they are looking for a "yes" or "no" answer to a question, which scammers can go on to use in a nefarious way. I also get scammer robo calls claiming to be associated with our electric company or credit cards. I know they are scammers because they don't give specific information about anything. More general. Plus, if they truly had an issue, they'd call for real. And, they wouldn't ask for private private info (like a SS#) because they'd already know it.

Have you ever been pick pocketed or victimized in some other way by a stranger?

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
