Remember I told you guys I was in Florida for vacation last week? I'm now back home in TN and I feel a little better. Has anybody ever went through psychosis when you're technically bipolar? If so, what causes it? Extreme stress, grief, etc?? I mean I don't see or hear things, I have these negative stupid thoughts though and I just got back on my Prozac. I wonder if it's high anxiety causing this? Should I give time for my Prozac to kick in?

All the time. All the time. It is my main problem these days. Been dealing with it almost continutously since October.

According to my pdoc, there are different reasons this may occur. In me, we think a mania started if off and then, essentially, sort of spun up a coexistent psychosis which then became its own set of independendt problems to be addressed.

What I have noticed is that stress, sleep issues, old trauma, and again, mania, are my main driverss. So, I try to pay close attention to those.

I am glad you made it back home safely.

Better, thank you. Since I'm back on my Prozac, my anxiety is lessening. Taking just lithium and lamictal wasn't helping me.
