My aunt, well, technically my step-aunt has been put into hospice care. She is at home and comfortable. I already miss her so much.

I'm so sorry to hear that. My wife just went through this with her grandfather, so I understand some of the feelings as I've watched her feel them. I wish her a painless journey. I hope that your pain is quickly replaced by warm memories. Reach out if you need to bend an ear.

Sorry to hear that, Hallie. I remember when my grandma was placed in hospice. It's really difficult to see someone you love get placed in hospice care.

Can you do FaceTime, Google Hangouts, or Zoom with her? That may help both you and her at the same time. It's also nice because you can "see" her from wherever you are, if you're not allowed to visit (because of COVID-19).

Thank you friends! Your kindness helps. We always dreamt of going to Ireland together but you know how time
Slips away. I wish we could have done that.

I am so sorry, Hallie. But you know what, you should still think about going to Ireland anyway. It is just lovely and such sweet, kind people. Nicest people of the planet, perhaps. It is definitely worth a trip.

She’s still alert some so I called her today. She was really groggy but talked to me. I told her how much I’m gonna miss her. She said it’s gonna hurt but not yo cry because she will be in a better place.

Sorry to hear that, Hallie. It's very difficult and upsetting to see someone in hospice, but I am glad you were able to talk to her.

I'm so sorry Hallie. I'm glad you got to have a last conversation with her and that you told her how you felt.
