Wonder what you think of this. There is a video taken April 2019 of NBA Phila. PA Sixers coach. Brett Brown. Reason I'm interested in sharing it here is this. Somebody wrote in the comments. " I've never watched a interview from him. But boy he sounds high lol " There are two videos of the same interview. The one interview where the comment is the camera is really erratic IOW all over the place. The other video the camera is steady. My questions are is it okay to post the video? Is there a policy of posting on this matter. How much can you tell from a video of less then six minutes?

mugwort, I don't think it is right to try to diagnose a person based on a short video. Also, we would not be qualified to diagnose. There are many reasons one might seem "high". Medications, illegal drugs, supplements, other substance, personality, anxiety, general excitement, other.

Hi mugwort,

I agree with BirdDancer.
The term "high" could be any type of high and could be caused by any number of reasons.
The coach might not be "high" at all. A random person offering his/her opinion carries little/no weight.
As BD has pointed out, we cannot diagnose.

I think it is wise of you to ask about this prior to posting.

How are you these days?

Huge NBA fan here. The coach you refer to is well known to be extremely high-energy. He always talks fast, occasionally says "wild" stuff, and is just generally kind of bouncing off walls, historically speaking.

Perhpas this is hypo, perhaps this is just him. Who am I to judge...

I'm taking it one day at a time. I feel what else can I do with the virus. Very limited to what I can do. The temp. feeling 100 degrees of course is a factor too. I'm glad you like how I asked first. How are you doing?

You know what I mean then. Unclear what you mean by wild stuff. I'm not criticizing or judging you in any way . Any NBA fan is way cool in my book. Especially Sixers Okay if you're not one. Being you are an NBA fan is still cool.

Oh, well, by 'wild' I mean unpredictable, surprising, sometimes, fairly odd things. He is a bit of an odd duck, I guess you could say. My take, anyhow.

I am a lifelong Blazer fan, being from here. Went to one of the games when we actually defeated your beloved Sixers for the NBA Championship many moons ago, as a matter of fact... Sorry for that. Since we only have one major-league franchise, the NBA is quite big in this town. But Philly is waaaaay bigger than Portland. Our whole metro area has fewer than 3 million people total. Tiny, by comparison. The only really big cities on the whole west coast are all in Califormia. Vancouver, Seattle, and Portland are all small.

Hi

I agree with bpcyclist.

I also think, who am I to judge

As Wild Coyote pointed out, we cannot diagnose here.

And also a random person offering their opinion does not carry much, if any, weight.

I’m also wondering how you are these days.

Much love

Yes he's an odd duck but I think that's cool about him. There's nobody like Brett Brown. To me there is no prob you being a Blazers fan. I mean most fans are for their home team. Speaking of Portland OR there is a Portland ME and the Sixers coach is from S. Portland ME or as the population up there calls it SoPo. For real. One thing though in Philly there are some Lakers fans since Kobe Bryant went to Lower Merion High School. Lower Merion tnsp a suburb of Philly.

Wild Coyote. Not to worry. I am not suffering from the virus. How are you? Hoping you're coping okay. It was kind of you to be concerned. I'm fine. Hope you are too.

Hi BPcyclist. I heard Brett Brown mention mood swings on his interviews. How are you doing. Me not doing too good. I feel really discouraged with the Coronavirus. I worry it won't end any time soon. How about you?

Hey, mugwort. Sorry you are struggling. Yeah, we set a huge, huge record for new cases today again. It is getting totally out of control here, and we have done a quite good job here of keeping cases down. One of the lowest numbers in the nation. But now, getting super, super bad. Just wonder when this can end...

I sure wonder when it will end too. I think the nightmare will be ending when there is effective and safe meds, vaccines.
