Since starting clozapine on Monday my suicidal thoughts are gone. I can’t even think them is I try. I was told once that my suicidal thoughts could be a form of psychosis. Maybe they were right because mine are gone. I was having them pretty much daily for years. It almost feels kind of weird not to have them anymore. I hope this continues.

Clozapine is really good stuff. 4 years on it and I still can't believe the difference.

I am glad you do not have any suicidal thoughts.

Did the person ever say why s/he thinks your suicidal thoughts stemmed from psychosis? I have gotten suicidal thoughts through psychosis, so it is definitely possible, but it was not an everyday thing for me personally, so I can't relate. Just curious though.

My last T said that constant suicidal thoughts can be seen as a psychosis. She really didn’t explain why and I was in the hospital at the time so we really couldn’t get into it and then I switched Ts when I got out.

How interesting, about SI possibly being a part of psychosis.

I've heard great reports about Clonidine. I have my fingers crossed for you, Crook
