I have a place to live for awhile!!!!!! I basically have the basement of a home as mine, fully furnished for as long as I need it, and super affordable (I think he took pity on me, he didn’t know I was homeless but I did suggest that I might be because I was trying to move here for my job).

He’s a nice older guy, divorced and no kids. A chef so that’s awesome— he told me he loves to cook and would happily cook for me. Of course I won’t take him up on that but I might taste test lol.

It all fell into my lap out of the blue. I’m so relieved (and clean. A shower is something I’ll never take for granted again) — or your thoughts and prayers. Thank you guys for supporting me!!

I start work Sunday and he works days and I nights so we won’t see much of each other but that’s ok. I just wish I knew a way to show how much I appreciate his hospitality.

Anyway— I’m finally sheltered. It’s a huge step towards new found independence. A new life awaits.

So glad for you!

If you want a way to earn a little extra Swagbucks: Coupons, Paid Online Surveys & Free Gift Cards has a bunch of things you do to earn swagbucks. Surveys, watch videos, special offers, rebates for shopping certain places, using their browser, etc. You can earn a bit extra per month. I'm not doing it much now so don't know how much you can make but it used to be fairly easy to make $50/month and some people made a lot more (with a lot of patience). You can cash it out for giftcards or paypal cards. I won't lie, it's not fun much of the time but the extra money can be nice. It got me through a lot of years that I had too many bills and too little social security.
