I am sorry about your friend. That is a sad thing to endure.

I am also sorry your friends haven't been around much. I know that must be difficult. Feel free to reach out any time. Sometimes distance from old friends makes more room for new ones.

Wondering what you could of or should of done seems common when grieving for a friend no matter what the circumstances. The world is random, chaotic, and complex and we do what we can for others. We don't have as much control as we think.

I'm so sorry. Hopefully, our friends from here will return. I know you miss them.

There's nothing anyone can really do besides involuntarily sending someone IP, and even that possibly only delays the inevitable.

Don't blame yourself or ask if you could've done more, the way forward is to grieve and learn to accept and adjust to the new reality without them.

Not an easy task, but still a good goal to work toward.

I'm really sorry for your loss.
