That's an adorable picture you posted, Fuzzybear. I wish I could get more hugs like that little cub is getting, too. I do get them from my husband, but I used to get them from my mom who passed away 15 years ago. My father, not so much.

Something I learned is that sometimes we must hug ourselves, figuratively and literally, when we need more. We have to show ourselves unconditional love and be kind to ourselves. I don't mean in a narcissistic sense, though. Even when I make mistakes, I know that action to rectify or atone for them is a gift I can give myself. When others wrong me, sometimes forgiving them or just stepping away from them (if the wrong is particularly bad) is a kind gesture to myself.
