Feeling much calmer than I was 2 days ago. Awoke to smokey air and a day that will be 100 degrees. Fingers crossed that this week will be the last hot-as-summer week. Would be lovely to drop into the 70's but, like the past several years, we'll likely go from 90's to 60's within a few days.

I did stretches that they recommended. and could not get comfortable, I had spasm in my back. I got out of bed at 3am and used a frozen bag of corn on my si joint in the lower back, upper butt. and a ice pack for my groin area.I am going to "the joint" now to talk about what I did wrong, think I over stretched. my fault. I did not think I was going to be able to do my job. But I did, one client at 10am at 1;15 had a face time with my mental health nurse practitioner. That went fine, no changes. I told her I was starting a new diet that I had gained 5 pounds in one month. The meeting was very uplifting. She was very encouraging. and then a client at 3-4pm.
I hope you all have a nice day.

The highs are in the fifties here. Leaves have changed and are falling. It’s autumn here.

Got my box to the post office. Since the grandkids can’t go trick or treat this year I sent them a Halloween care package. They both got backpacks with treats and fun stuff. Stickers, a bunch of creepy creatures, cautioning tape they can use to mark off their rooms, wax lips and other candy. Masks. I hope they like em. Now I got to think what to send for thanksgiving cause yeah, not seeing them then either. They both go to school and activities and mum is 92 with health problems. So we stay away.

Asking for good vibes sent to me and healing vibes sent to my son.

He has completely deteriorated. Ee got a termination letter where we go for meds. I told my son he had to call or he would be kicked out. He was able to get in today. He was honest with his pdoc amazingly. I talked to his pdoc and its decided that he will be hospitalized. My son doesn't want to be but they might be able to get him to be.
I hope so. I'm not sure what the next step is. But if you could send healing vibes I would appreciate it...

Sent some to the other thread, now sending more. Never can have too many healing vibes. Best of luck.

Positive and healing vibes coming your way! I'm hopeful your son will be matched with practitioners that care for him properly and truly help him. I know it will be a relief to know he's safe for a few days. Hoping this all works out for the better.

Focusing on the positive of today, I got to spend a couple hours with my best friend and when I went to physical therapy the therapist there realized he had clothes the same size as what I lack being evacuated so he's going to bring me a bag of jeans and shirts. There are good people in the world.

Today started out well with a blood test going smoothly. I didn't know what to expect with COVID but i hardly had to wait at all. I was impressed with myself that i got it done so promptly -- i just got the form on Monday. I thought i'd drag my feet on it but no -- done and done! So worried i'll test positive for diabetes. Ugh!

But then when i got home and took my dog out i got into a conversation with a neighbor. It started out well and i was glad for the company. We agreed on several things. But then she asked about my family. She's asked before and i deflected but since she persisted i just told her i don't want to talk about it. That sort of put the brakes on things and i left.

Then i went for coffee at the mall and there were so many irritations i just fled home and sat in the dark for several hours. I guess i found it all over-stimulating. I took six buses today. Now i still have to take my dog out one more time. Not looking forward to that.

Feeling tired and cranky.

I'm stressed out about my sister coming to visit this weekend. I mean, I'm looking forward to it but I always worry my apartment isn't clean enough. I struggle with basic daily tasks and I have a hard time determining whether or not my place is clean.

Oh well, I guess I'll see how it goes. Sometimes I want to give up though. When I think about it, I'm 26, I have maybe 40 or 50 years left of this life, it's just exhausting to think about that. Every day the only thing I want to do when I wake up is get back under the covers and stay there all day. I feel like I'm so behind in my life and I'm never gonna get anywhere.

Anyway, I made some seasoned potatoes for dinner tonight. They were very good. I need to go grocery shopping but it's supposed to rain tomorrow so I don't know if I'll be able to. I hope I will be able to though.
