Long story but got ahold of his pdoc and its been decided that he may be forced into the hospital. He has completely deteriorated. He hasn't showered in over 2 months and smells like urine really bad. He says he can't shower bc hes too drugged. He is washing his hands like 50 times a day. Hes having me do everything bc hes too afraid to touch anything. He believes everyone is drugging him including me.

Any good and healing vibes sent would be appreciated! Thanks.

Good luck, sending healing vibes
Glad he decided to go voluntarily. I was in the ER a few months back and the wait was ~3 weeks for involuntary and ~5 days for voluntary and when you're waiting in the ER for a bed in crisis that's a huge difference.

I’m glad your son went voluntarily. It always gives me a little bit if a sense of control. It’s also evidence that I am taking care of myself.

Its going ok. He was moved to the new psych hospital here. They don't allow visitors, so that sucks. But hes in the hospital now.

Thanks for checking on me.

Thanks for checking on me.

Maybe they don't allow visitors so they can observe the patient without any outside influence? Do you have any idea how long he'll be IP?

No I think they aren't allowing visitors bc of covid. No I have no idea how long he'll be there. I'm hoping he calls me so I can ask him what it's like there. He really needs to be stabilized.
