If it is not too triggering, I am interested in how many attempts we have had. There is not good data on this, still, sadly. I have had 2 deadly serious and one sort of halfway.
Please do not discuss methods--it is strictly forbidden here. Do not participate if triggering

including 1 that was so severe I actually got blessed by a priest. the hospital were that convinced I wasn't going to make it |

Bona fide? In my case, probably none. I had ideations and some calls for help. The closest was also more a call for help. I did end up in the ER. I came to and was forced to drink a charcoal drink. Was then transferred to the psych hospital the next day after a night in a dungeon-like psych ER room.

Two severe, one close call (severe method, very close to acting,) two less severe and one oops, didn’t realize that was actually dangerous to me.

None. One reason for that is my horror of hospitals. I have researched methods etc. I did not attempt as I did not and do not want to “botch” it. (Not meaning that in a mean way. I have been close several times)

I second Fuzzy. In addition, I've lost my aunt and my cousin - and 5 friends - to suicide. I know what an awful action it is to take against loved ones (very much including pets). The ripple effect is vicious.

I've had several close calls at attempting, but have never actually gone through with the act. Kind of not sure at what point you'd call them an attempt.
