I almost made guitar my career. My illness robs me of the ability to enjoy pretty much all music.

Have not played in years. My daughter brought me my fave guitar the other day. Prodding? Maybe. I left it w her when I went to the hospital for 5 yrs to remember me by. The painting she did is of my Ibanez. She did kt when she was 4 and sent it to the me at the hospital.

Sarcosine and more exercise has really helped my depression. As my best pal says to me, there is always hope. Amen..

Sounds like a good pal. I love guitar music (but sometimes most music doesn't feel how it ''should'')

That's too bad about not enjoying music. I love music and always have.

Your daughter's drawing is precious! Absolutely magical.

I am so sorry about the music. So sorry. There are times when I feel that all I have left is music.

Maybe your daughter has an intuition and insight into your need for music again.

...You almost had your hooks in me, didn't you, dear?
You nearly had me roped and tied...
Sweet freedom whispered in my ear
You're a butterfly, and butterflies are free to fly...
Thank God my music's still alive.
