From the The Old Farmer's Almanac:

December’s Cold Moon reaches peak illumination on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, at 10:30 P.M. EST.

What makes this full Moon special? It’s most distinctive for its high trajectory across the sky, which results in the full Moon sitting above the horizon for a longer period of time.

December’s full Moon is most commonly known as the Cold Moon—a Mohawk name that conveys the frigid conditions of this time of year, when cold weather truly begins to grip us.

Everyone be safe!

Yes, it's a beautiful moon but it lights up my bedroom and keeps me awake. AND it will be a full moon in Cancer, so emotions might be especially high and we might either seek nurturing or feel like nurturing. Also, we might tend to feel vulnerable.

This moon is a very white light and divining light, and exposes all vulnerabilities both seen and unseen. I feel it. It's very spooky.....on a pop culture note, do you know the Lou Reed song White Light/White Heat? One of my favorites. Of course, given Lou Reed, it is about coke, but nonetheless and rockin' song.
Thanks for this!

Sure do! The Velvet Underground is one of my favorite bands. GREAT song.

Awesome! One of my favorites too. They were way ahead of their time. I used to sing some of their songs in a rock band in college. Once opened up for They Might Be Giants. Sadly, we did not become as famous as they did

Yesterday was a normal day for me. Full moon had no effect. If I had been in the psych ER, it may have been busier/crazier there but since I wasn't there, I can't know.

I forgot all about the moon yesterday. Ended up having a maddeningly frustratingly emotional battle with technology having to do with tax preparation for the online business my husband and I run. I was literally in tears, which is unusual for me. Maybe that big ol' Cancer moon did get to me.
