Iíve had trouble reading threads. The page goes blank and then the ad pops up. There are better ways to monotize sites.

I have no problem with money being made. I run a website and the server and software cost money. Also, time isnít free. Iíd suggest figuring out another ad placement.

The adverts are going to seriously discourage my participation here.

Are you sure its not an issue with maleware? Pop ups that block the page are not forum ads. The forum may have top or bottom banner ads but nothing like that

They're targeted bottom banner adverts, often focusing on mental health and substance abuse facilities. I'm pretty sure it was a conscious decision on the part of mysupportforum.org

Can I ask why youíre so opposed as long as they donít interfere? It costs a lot to run and maintain a website.

Yes, usually I access this site through Chrome, but I after what was written about Firefox, I gave that a try. No ads when I view using Firefox.

It is a shame, but everything seems to all be about money, anymore. Money, money, money! Especially in the USA.
