I am. I’ve gone back to wearing a mask. Even vaccinated you can catch it, it’s just likely that you’ll be asymmetric and a carrier. But I don’t want mum to get it.

Who is your hero, and why?

My hero right now is my Dad who let me move in with him and his wife when I left a bad relationship.

Are you left or right handed?

Laundry: love it or hate it?

Definitely can't say I love it, but I don't hate washing, drying, or folding (and putting away) laundry. I suppose the folding part is most annoying of those three tasks. What I do kind of hate is ironing. Since my career job ended, a long while back, I've virtually stopped it.

What seemingly old-fashioned task do you still sometimes perform?

my favorite used to be a boat tour of a fizzy pop factory. I liked the music, the fact it was slow, the fact that you could buy the fizzy pop when you got off, and the fact that it was a family ride- anyone could enjoy it because of its theme.

nowadays, getting on theme park rides is a little difficult with my weight, but I can still watch them and follow the news..

do you enjoy flavoured water to drink?

Jam. Currently homemade peach jam. No butter.

If you could paint your bedroom any color what would it be?

Mm I think a nice soft light peach would look good with the bedspread my daughter bought me. It’s off white with a blue India pattern on it.

What’s your favorite type of activity?

anything that involves 1 person- surfing the net, watching a movie, listening to music, also I prefer inside activities to outside.

Went to the beach on Saturday night for fresh air, a nice walk and to collect stones to make a rock garden. I live 20 minutes from a beach and feel very lucky to do so.

Question: When was the last time you cried?

Yes, as long as the weather is pleasant and there aren't too many bugs/flies bothering me. Often in New Jersey, it was too hot and humid in the summer. It's milder where I am now.

In NJ we had a nice umbrella covered eating table and chairs on our deck, but we left them for the house buyers. Now we do have patio furniture and an umbrella, but only coffee tables. No dining table. Recently we had guests over, but ate food that didn't require forks and knives (open-faced sandwiches and then later sausages roasted over a pit fire).

What are your favorite picnic foods?

none.

in all the picnics I remember attending growing up, I wouldn't eat anything.
sausage rolls as long as they are warm. I won't eat cold sausage rolls, and I suppose potato chips as well.

have you ever stayed in a tent?

Yes I have. Abet when I was much much younger and thought it was an adventure. Now no way. Maybe I’d consider glam camping if it came with a modern bathroom and I’d somehow have the money for it! 😃

Do you like science fiction? Why not, or which is your favorite?

to be honest I've no thoughts about it either way. I don't dislike it, but I've also not really read/ watched enough of it to really say I'm a fan

I enjoyed the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy, and I watched dr who when david tenant played the doctor.

I'm not a massive fan of starwars, but the few episodes of star trek I've seen are okay- but not seen that much of it to form an opinion

it may be something that I explore in the future. more science fiction

what house would you be in if you attended hogwarts?
