If it's a good comment I just say "thanks, I try" and if it's bad I just joke about it.

Do you prefer your appointments earlier in the day to get them over with or later in the day?

Later in the day I'm not a morning person I function better in the afternoon

Question: What is your favourite accent? What's your worst accent?

May sound trite, but I do think French accents are particularly lovely. As for least favorite, I'd be reluctant to say, if I had one. Certainly some accents reflect "harsher sounding" languages than others, but I think a lovely sweet voice counteracts any harsher accent.

Other than your native language, what second language do you know the most of? Even if you can speak it well.

In recent months, I can get back to sleep fairly quickly. Sometimes I have to either get a drink of water or eat a yogurt (my secret sleep-inducer) to do so. At other times, if some level of manic, I have more trouble. Most of the trouble is more not feeling like sleeping more, more than any desperate wish to.

Do you have a favorite drinking mug or glass? What does it look like?

Yeah, it's a xmas present from my mom. It's the biggest mug I've ever had so it holds lots of tea/coffee/hot chocolate and it says "MY BRAIN HAS TOO MANY TABS OPEN" which...is fitting.

How do you learn to trust yourself again after an episode where you were detached from reality or at least made very questionable decisions?

I got up to get a cup of coffee about 10 feet from the table By the time I was done pouring my coffee everyone from that table disappeared. I mean they were nowhere in sight and our cafeteria is easily the size of a football field. What did everyone sprint to the Call Center? So naturally I started questioning was I just sitting there talking to myself? Like wtf! If you could just pick up and go somewhere else, would you?
I had something similar happen at work 25 years ago. I was sitting in my cubicle and I had my head down on the desk taking a few seconds relaxation when I felt someone tap me on my shoulder. I sat up and there was noone in my cubicle and I looked down the long walkway outside my cubicle and nobody! There was no time where the person couldve moved that fast to not be seen between when I felt the tap and when I looked around.

I do. And Lady Gaga herself. I think "Shallow" is beautiful. I will say I liked her earlier songs better than her very recent dance club stuff.

What decade's music do you like best?

I would have a penthouse suite in a tall building with skylights as i crave natural light and like living in sturdy buildings.

When you get up, does it take you a while to wake up and what sorts of things do you do to help wake up?

I was just thinking that my life's been wasted a few days ago but then I remembered that my choir in high school went to a worldwide competition in Vienna when I was 17 and we won the whole competition!

If you don't sleep well at night do you try to nap during the day or no?

Oh yeah, nap is key. Moose, that is a great story!

If you could choose any career, any path in life, what would it be?

I'm a retired high school teacher. While I'd like to think I did some good in the world, I'm not 100% sure I'd choose that path if I had to do it over again. The curriculum became too standardized over the years...too much teaching to tests. I'm fairly happy being a retired guy at the moment!

What were the very first signs you struggled with mental illness? Were you aware of it at the onset?
