Bacon roll by Mark Knopfler always gets Papa bear singing (I'm not sure about one song that I always sing to, there are a few I sing to sometimes )

Favourite food(s) for breakfast?

Favourite food(s) for breakfast?
Homemade waffles (especially blueberry waffles) topped with fresh fruit/berries, a little maple syrup, and whipped cream. OR, a Dutch Baby topped with a little maple syrup and fresh berries and whipped cream. OR, homemade crepes with a variety of fillings (preserves and fruit and whipped cream OR cinnamon-sugar OR lemon juice and sugar). French toast is also a favorite. If I have a big hunger, a favorite side would be either crisp bacon, fried pork roll, or fried breakfast sausages. Grapefruit or orange juice and coffee is a must. Maybe a little yogurt, too. I most like sweet high carb breakfasts.

What smells/aromas do you like the most?

No, I have no patience in doing them. Especially not the kind where you put little cardboard shapes into place. Perhaps I like crossword puzzles, and the like, slightly more, but still rarely do them.

What do you have little patience for?

explaining stuff

once.... okay. fair enough

twice... maybe if you missed something first time round

but when I'm explaining something 10/11 times, that's what gets annoying

also, I really don't have patience for people who seek attention. people who say something like, oh come here, it's really important, I have to do it now, it can't wait, so you go thinking they really need you and they go.. how are you?. how are your family?. dog?. other people in your life?

and I'm thinking.. I thought you actually needed me?

and when you try to leave they are like.. all ready?. really? and you're like yes, I can't stand here all day talking about what my dog ate for breakfast

and re: those puzzles with the cardboard peaces, I know someone with a disney puzzle with over 1 thousand 300 peaces..

favorite disney movie?

It's hard to pick one. Maybe "Airplane". It's an older one, but hilarious.

Baloo from the Jungle Book?

Are you interested in history? If so, do you find some parts of history particularly interesting?

I do enjoy studying history. I was one of the more enthusiastic students in those classes. Even my major at university included a good amount of history-related courses. I suppose I'm a little more interested in modern vs. ancient history. European and Asian (particularly Chinese) history were my focuses.

Were you a good student when in school? Either way, in which subject did you do best?

I was mostly a good student. I think I did best in biology (except for sometimes the dissections)

Colour of your first (or favourite) bike?

my toy robot

you put casette tapes in the front of the robot and each one was an interactive mission- so you had mission to mars, under the sea, journey to the centre of the earth, they taught you stuff and also had other fun activities that went along with the theme

lots of fun until it got broken.

question: do you have anything left from your childhood?. toys, other objects, or is it all thrown out?

I have a tiny blue & colorful silk horse. I bought it in Berkeley, California when I was 10. I also have a tiny doll that my sister bought for me when I was 5 years old. The doll has bright orange hair and a teeny, tiny "mod" dress on. She originally came in a pretend perfume bottle. So, wow...those 2 items are over 50 years old! Yikes!!

Do you enjoy being in a swimming pool?

Sometimes. It sort of depends on how many people are in it and/or what the expectations are in it. By the latter, I mean if other swimmers expect me to be doing only laps. I prefer to just be in the pool, splash around, swim casually, or meditate. Sometimes if there are too many people (or kids) it's uncomfortable. I'd like a private swimming pool. My husband would LOVE one! That, or a private pond/lake or the sea to swim in.

At what age did you learn to swim (if you know how)? And at what age did you learn to ride a bike (if you know)?

I was young when I learned to swim, 1st grade what’s that 6-7 years old? Mum too me to the city pool and dropped me off in the wee early hours. The water was freezing. I’ve no memories of learning to ride a bike. I had two much older sisters so when I want to ride their bikes I just taught myself. I do remember being too small to sit on the seat and pedal, I had to stand.

Did you take off in the summer and were gone all day with your parents not knowing where you went?
