I still haven't gotten mine. It seems like the prior ones I got it earlier but this time I'm waiting and starting to wonder if there was some way that SSDI was kept out, although I read that it wasn't. I'm worried about it as I'm counting on it to help pay a dental bill next week. It will get paid regardless, just not as easily.

Anyway, just curious.

Thanks

My mom is on disability. She is concerned because she hasn't got hers yet either. She got the last one very quickly, but her friend who is also disabled got her weeks later. I don't know what causes the delay, but sometimes it's weird like that. I wouldn't stress it too much just yet -- it'll get there! hopefully!

I have to wait for mine to actually be physically mailed so I may be playing the waiting game a while hahaa

People on SSDI are eligible for the stimulus check. And no, I haven't received mine yet. *sigh* The last stimulus check - I swear I was the last person in the U.S. to receive a check, it was so late!

I was wondering too. The last two I received pretty quickly. I was hoping for it to pay a medical bill too. I know they said people on SSDI are eligible but they also said they go by tax returns, I don’t file taxes. So I worry.

I don't file taxes either which is why I'm worried. But that was true for the other two checks. I guess we just have to wait and see. I hate waiting and seeing

Yeah me too. Hate waiting that is. I’ve always told my daughter that patience is a virtue best acquired young. I told her that because I didn’t acquire it. I’m much better now but I still hate waiting.

I hope everyone's wait ends soon. I was so glad to hear that the working & middle classes are getting some Covid relief. Covid aside, in the past decades wages & benefits just haven't risen relative to the rising costs of housing & other necessities. I don't want to get any more political than that, though.

Mine came the other day, along with my husband's. I collect SSDI. He doesn't.

I believe that anyone who has direct deposit gets their checks first. The people waiting by mail (like me) are, apparently, last on the list.

I have mine since yesterday. I am on SSDI, and have filed taxes last year.

Hi Tucson, did you receive yours by direct deposit?

My stimulus payment is supposed to be deposited into a bank account on Wednesday, according to the Get My Payment site. The problem is, the account is not one my husband nor I recognize. We are hoping it's his sister's account, because she prepared our taxes. ?? Hopefully, the IRS hasn't completely screwed our check up.

I kept getting that notification, got it for days (a week). Most likely, they haven't processed your check yet. Very few people are not eligible.

I got that message at least 2 times before when I did get a check. Everything I read says a check will be deposited or sent the same way your SSDI payment is made.

I read something about they are doing it differently this time and sending big amounts to banks that are responsible for getting the money out by 9 AM the next morning. I didn't completely follow this but I'm hoping that it will hit my bank soon and wondering if it isn't because I have a small community bank.

I hope we'll all get checks soon. It certainly sounds like we should.
