I know what you mean. Since I’m going down on my ambien. I’m down to 5 from 25mg. I sleep 4 hours it’s just not enough. I stay in bed 77-8 hours, trying to get my body to realize that it’s supposed to be sleeping but no dice.
Have a nice 4th. __________________ Nammu …Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. …... Desiderata Max Ehrmann |

I seem to be sleeping more recently, but still not for enough hours. I dream a lot. My dream maker seems to need that, like the main reason for sleeping is to dream.

I was struggling a bit last night but then I fell asleep at 7 something. Fireworks woke me up at midnight. I got back to sleep around 1 or so. Then I got up around 5 and took a shower at 5:30. I took a half hour nap on the couch at 7 and I feel pretty rested now.

I was able to stop my thoughts by practicing meditation 🧘*♂️ then I got a very restful sleep. Did have a nice dream though, my cousin that was like a sister growing up and I reconnected and were in a garden together

I struggled with falling asleep and I fell asleep past 8 and then I woke up at 2. I am so tired I'm trying to take a nap on the couch before therapy but I'm not having any luck.

I fell asleep before 6:30 I think. I woke up for a few minutes sometime around 1 but then I got back to sleep pretty quickly until 6 something. So I feel pretty rested.

I'm actually getting (added up) 6-8 hours of sleep a night. The problem is I'm getting them during all the wrong times! It's a step up from where I was though!

I had a broken night. I woke up at 3 am and noticed mum was up too, her lights were on, after an hour or so got back to sleep until 8. So altogether 6-7 hours. Pretty good. Almost off the 5 mg. I think I have one more week at this dose.
Did have a dream, not a very pleasant one. Started. Out ok, but deterred into a disjointed mess. There was a lady who became psychotic and held us prisoner. __________________ Nammu …Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. The usual. If I don't take anything for sleep I lie there for 90 minutes - 2 hours until I finally fall asleep. When I did fall asleep last night I slept "hovering"...i.e., not deeply. I guess I'll take a 25mg Seroquel tonight. Although despite not falling asleep for 2 hours last night I haven't felt tired today, which is very nice.
I've been dreaming about my grandmother lately, my mother's mother. My grandmother lived to be 100 years, 7 months old. She was picky and critical, extremely anxious. But although she was judgmental of most people, she was always kind to me. I didn't see that much of her, though. She was dignified, an old-fashioned "lady" with lovely manners. I respected her. __________________ |

I fell asleep from 5 something until 7. Then I was up from 7 until 12 something. Then I woke up around 4 and got up at 5:30 to take a shower. I haven't been sleeping the greatest lately but I'm hoping tommorow eases my anxiety a bit and then I see the pulmonogist on Friday who will want to check for sleep apnea.

I’m only getting 5-6 hours of sleep but it seems to be enough. Another hospital dream but this one had a twisted plot. I ended up in a secret floor where they were cloning people!

I had some sleep last night. The heat here is atrocious (for me) and it's becoming more and more difficult to sleep at all without more than the prescribed dose of benzos. Not ''fun''

*sings* "No sleep 'til Brooklyn..."
(The Beastie Boys) Seriously, I wonder - if I had started driving east at 10:30 p.m., where would I be now, at 3:30 a.m.? I would have crossed the huge Sierra Nevada Mountains, then down by Lake Tahoe...but 5 hours, I'm pretty sure I'd be in Nevada by now, smelling the scent of desert sage in the air. I took that Vraylar, which made me keep falling asleep all day when I took it in the morning, but I took it at bedtime and I've been wired since. That stuff is hitting the bin. __________________ |

It's morning & I need sleep. Why am I like this? I keep having these weird dreams, so I know I do sleep. I wake up & I feel sad.

Just the same wakinh up at midnight crap as normal. This time I managed to fall back asleep for a couple hours around 2 something. But this sleep issue is just really wearing me down. I am exhausted physically and mentally.
