I found out I'm almost half Scottish based on my ethnicity estimate -- I'd love to see my "homeland" one day

It's beautiful here. You should definitely visit Scotland, you would love it and the accent is great. I'm originally from Liverpool and my family are mostly from Isle of Man, Ireland and Liverpool.

Hey guys,

Thank you for the replies. I had a good week last week was away to a lodge with a hot tub in Central Scotland. Went a few day on trips to wee places like villages. Then went to Bannockburn where us Scots fought the English army in 1314. Very interesting. No rain at all in 5 days. Hot tub amazing.

This week we'll actually last week when I was away I found out that my downstairs neighbours bathroom window had been smashed in. When I got home on Fri it was boarded up I checked my windows. My livingroom window the opposite side to the bathroom window was cracked... this has set my paranoia spiralling out of control. Tonight I'm on my Sister's sofa as last night I was scared to sleep. I kept hearing noises etc.

Window has been measured to be fitted with double glazed window now. Unsure when that will be.

So I'm back to sleeping on sofas after only a few months in my own bedroom in 4 years. Oh well set backs are bound to happen.

@Miss Laura I don't blame you for sleeping on couches after something like that. That would rev up my paranoia too!
