While today was the darkest day of the year, & it's the first day of winter, the daylight hours will increase daily from tomorrow until June! Goodbye darkness! Many cultures celebrated the winter solstice in their rituals. My guess is that the sun will return despite the fact I don't have any solstice rituals.

Yes, me too. I have no ritual but I trust that the day will be longer tomorrow. I long for the days to be brighter.

Thanks for drawing my attention to this, buddha1too! No special customs in my house, either, but I sure will welcome more possibly energy.

Dx: Bipolar type 1

Psych Medications:
* Tegretol XR (carbamazepine ER) 800 mg
* Lamictal (lamotrigine) 150 mg
* Seroquel XR (quetiapine ER) 500 mg

I also take meds for blood pressure, cholesterol, and tachycardia.

I know its only like 23 seconds but today seems brighter already. Plus i opened the blinds a little.

Thats just the first or second day, i just happened to see it on tv. Its not the same rate, which surprised me, i found out a while ago. March and September change the most / fastest.

Well then I have my next goalpost. I just have to get though January and February to March when I can get more light!
