While today was the darkest day of the year, & it's the first day of winter, the daylight hours will increase daily from tomorrow until June! Goodbye darkness! Many cultures celebrated the winter solstice in their rituals. My guess is that the sun will return despite the fact I don't have any solstice rituals.

Yes, me too. I have no ritual but I trust that the day will be longer tomorrow. I long for the days to be brighter.

Thanks for drawing my attention to this, buddha1too! No special customs in my house, either, but I sure will welcome more possibly energy.

Yup, I’ll take every second of extra sunshine there is, unfortunately the sun didn’t shine.

I was wondering how much of a difference it made. Thanks for looking it up.
