numb by linken park

I heard it recently while watching zoe's extraordinary playlist, and had to download it

perfect song for how I feel most days- can't believe I didn't know about it all these years (and I consider myself a music fan)
Hugs from:

Thanks for this!

There’s this one song by Linken Park I like called Shadow Of The Day

My new favorite song is The Freshmen by The Verve Pipe but the lyrics are kinda triggering so I’d be cautious listening to it.

Yes it is. I had to Google it I didn’t know they did that one too. When it’s my turn I listen to channel 12 on Sirius radio which is popRocks. They play pop rock songs from the 90’s-2010’s. I like it better then 90’s on 9 and pop2k since I listen to the radio in the car with my mom and I really don’t want to be listening to dirty rap music or the song Low by Flo Rida with my mom.

I was into Linkin Park when I was a teenager. I still love them but I don't listen to them as much because it brings back feelings or vague memories of that time in my life, which wasn't a good time.

I've been listening to a lot of Billy Joel. His music really fits my vibe and outlook. Some of his songs feel like a personal anthem for me. They make me smile.
I made a Good Vibes playlist, I use music to raise my energy and mood.
Thanks for this!

Nothing new for me, haha. It's still good old classic rock.

"Numb" is great. I have always identified with that and also "Disturbia" by Rihanna and "Monster" by Eminem and Rihanna. I also liked "Lithium" by Evanescence, but then I paid attention to the lyrics, and it's not what I expected (it's rather critical of lithium). But one song that I do recommend the most is "Better Tomorrow" by Matt Simons. Heard that by chance on the radio and it resonated so much that it has become one of the songs I listened to the most in 2021.
