Good morning fellow bipolars. It’s a foggy Christmas Eve morning. Only 40F unusual here. I’m just marking time before I head out to pick up brunch. It’s for tomorrow but the stores will be closed tonight and tomorrow. Daughter’s family is coming here. We’ll nosh on a charcuterie board and cookies, then open presents. Then mum and daughter will head to church.

It took me a half hour to calm down from the panic attack that punched me in the face last night before bed. Today I am so tense and irritable. I just took my PRN in an attempt to be calm enough to NOT scream at my family on Christmas Eve.

Making cookies/candy will be tough, likely my son will want to help and I don’t want to upset him by giving him my super annoyed tone.

I woke up this morning and peed neon yellow. I'm not suprised by anything my body does anymore but I googled it just to make sure that I wasnt dying and it said its most likely a B-12 defiency which can also be related to anemia. I've had that same color urine all day so it wasnt a one time thing. I've been showing a lot of signs of anemia and I see my doctor in January so I'll ask him then. I was so cold the other therapy session I asked her if she had a blanket. Lol

But today I am doing fine. I avoided the 4th valium last night and I woke up kind of early at 3 but I went back to sleep for about an hour sometime until 6:15. I am not dieting these next 2 days but I am also trying not to go overboard either. I had 2 small pieces of cheesecake for breakfast and then I had rice cakes and double noodle Campbells soup for lunch. We are getting Outback to go for dinner like we did last year.

I had a can of flamin hot Mountain Dew that honestly was not bad. It was a unique flavor of soda and better then the other recent flavors they have come out with.

2 stores were out of pizza Goldfish crackers. So maybe my $87 of groceries from Sams Club wasnt a bad idea.

My mom is making turnips and for a second I was like "wow one of the cats really messed up the cat box." Then I realized what it was.

I finally admitted to my mom about my geodon situation. She was basically just like "well lets hope for the best." She did say she couldnt believe I was out of it 11 days early and that it would just be a hassle trying to get more of it because of insurance issues. She said being without it wont kill me.

Well good grief

Yesterday Amanda got sick …negative Covid test. Steve woke up this am same symptoms as her. Burning sinuses , headache, sore throat. Very tired. He also got a negative result.

His son Chaise that just got married has tested positive and coughing up green junk. Steve is headed home now. I’ve called everywhere for at home test kit no one has any.

Again I only took 1 Geodon yesterday morning and about 4 am I’m waking up hot/cold and incredibly nauseous , cramping. Took one and it took a couple hours and finally felt a little better. This withdrawal is going to be hellish

Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas!

Much love

Edit to add.. his youngest son Tyler just tested positive.

I must have missed some posts. I’m so glad Steve is negative for COVID and is heading home. I am so sorry about your Geodon problem. I take it and can’t imagine the withdrawal. Sending hugs and healing vibes

I hope you have a Merry Christmas.

I went to my mom's and helped make the Christmas casserole, 7 layer salad and the raspberry jello for tomorrow.

My sister's twins- almost 21- and a couple of their friends have covid.

M made it to town. We went to Cracker Barrel and then went searching for Christmas lights. One display you drove up a hill and into the display and drove through it. It was on a hill and all the neighbors had coordinated this humongous display. Magical.

Today we had Starbucks at the park, watched Elf with Will Ferrell and wrapped presents. She’s at her dad’s now. She’ll be back tomorrow for Christmas. What a ray of sunshine.

I’m going to watch It’s a Wonderful Life then turn in. I’ll get up at 2:00 am and frantically finish what I need to. Tonight I need some quiet time.

I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas. 🎁

Daughter and family were here for opening presents. I’m happy to say my gifts were well received. I was really worried about the karaoke microphone but it just needed to be charged up and it worked great. My granddaughter loved it. That and the coloring book were the big hits with her. My grandson liked the remote car but loved his Xbox card. But they both went nuts for the cash in their cards. I always worry I’ll disappoint them.

My granddaughter is 4and a half, she made the Christmas cookies with just a little help from her mum. She so independent.

It was a very nice Christmas Eve. Tomorrow we tentatively plan to go out for a meal, but I bought and picked up the makings for a 2 person brunch. Wow, it’s a lot of food! So we’ll see. Tomorrow night Call the midwife holiday special is on, we’re looking forward to that.

Night one without the 20mil geodon and I'm fine. I took an extra valim this afternoon but my mom is writing down and keeping track of those. I think I heard more gunshots. Or Christmas Eve firecrackers perhaps. It sounded more like fire crackers tbh. Our dinner wasnt very good. I ordered filet mignon but I think they gave me sirloin. But it was burnt on the outside, undercooked on the inside. My shrimp was also very dry. The food here hasnt been the best. We have also had issues with Applebees and Dennys everytime we have ordered from them. Also one time Mcdonalds was out of diet coke. Weird.

I played Scrabble with my husband, nephew, and s-i-l last night, too. I hadn't played it for probably 35 years. Obviously I was at an extreme disadvantage since it was a Czech version, but nonetheless I got a couple short words. The rest of the time my husband pretty much played my letter tiles (or whatever they are called). He did quite well for me, but "I" lost mostly because my remaining letters were high point ones that were hard to use.

Merry Christmas to all who celebrate it! Last night was the bigger celebration day in Czech Republic, but tonight will also include a nice dinner. Presents were all opened last night. We received some great ones, but my husband's sister and nephews gave us more than we gave them. That's always awkward. As I am ultra frugal, this is always an issue. My siblings and I don't even exchange gifts. I do exchange with my father.

My cookies were a hit. I was also happy to help my s-i-l with other baking projects and my hubby and I prepared one of two main entrees for the meal last night (a festive salmon dish). Tonight Hubby and I will make a chicken dish with fennel, apples, and onion with herbs.

My s-i-l hates cooking. I'm happy to help, especially since she handles the dishes.

Merry Christmas everyone!

The James Webb space telescope lifted off this morning and everything went smoothly. It'll be operational in 6 months and will change the way we see the universe and ourselves.

Today is a very laid back day. Not sure I’m going to get out of my PJs today. That will depend on wether or not we go out to eat. It’s just the two of us. Doesn’t look like anything special is on tv until tonight when pbs has the downton movie and call the midwife on, so pretty much a day like any other.

I hurt for you about the withdrawal. We amazingly have one mental health drop-in clinic in our county that addresses stuff like med shortage. That got me to thinking...is it possible for you to go to either an urgent care or the ER and explain what has happened? Maybe they'll prescribe at least enough to get you through until you can see your regular prescriber.

That's so interesting! Scooter, would you mind explaining just a bit about the space telescope? How will it change the universe? I don't know anything about it.
