My junior year at university was a particularly rough one for me, too. I was quite depressed for much of that year, making it severely difficult to do any of my course work or go to classes. I recall in the very beginning of the semester dropping two classes and taking the minimum 12 credits. Any less than that I would have had to leave campus housing. Despite the lower course load, I did poorly that semester. I did manage to push myself a bit more in the classes relating to my major, but don't think I got any As in them at that time. But I did graduate at the end of the next year. My depression did lift. Was my final GPA as high as it might have been if I had not gotten sick? No...but it's OK. Even if I had had to take a leave, it would have been OK.
Do you best, HALLIEBETH. Your best is OK. Try to prioritize the best that you can. If it truly becomes unbearable and a risk to your minimum needed wellness, be kind to yourself. That wellness is priority number one. They switched our classes to 8 week classes instead of 16. (I’m at a regional Campus). I’m taking three classes right now and it’s a ton of work
