I looked at the results of my blood work and 3 of my levels, my hemoglobin, my red blood count, and my hematocrit are all high. I looked this up, yeah I know. Not smart. But it says when all 3 are high it can indicate a specfic type of blood cancer.
I'm just worried with the fatigue and the nausea and the headaches and other muscle aches that I do have cancer. If I just had the symptoms I'd brush it off as anxiety. But having the symptoms and those 3 specfic blood levels being high is really kinda scaring me. I know its happening as a result of my transtion and the hormones I am taking. I had to initial a paper in 2020 before I started the hormones saying I was aware of the risk of possible cancer. I don't know. I mean. I do want my mom to outlive me. I feel like she would do better without me vs the other way around. but blood cancer at age 29 sounds super scary. __________________ Ridin' with Biden |

It sounds like it is just an effect of your testosterone injections, not cancer.

He has tried lowering it before. This happened before in November. But the red blood count was ok then. I am on such a low dose of hormones right now its practically nothing. I am sure if it werent for the fact that I already had my surgery I would be taken off it altogether.

Oh, hun. Your mom doesn't want to live without you. I am quite sure of that.
I agree with Rainbow. When are you seeing your doctor about the test results? I'm sorry I can't recall. __________________ |

So its all in your head when your blood tests results show that something is not right? Don't be like a ****ing doctor that tells you its all in your head because I am for sure you wouldn't be happy if someone told you that.

Hypochondriasis Definition & Meaning - Merriam-Webster Hypochondriasis - Wikipedia Signs You May be a Hypochondriac - The Center for Treatment of Anxiety and Mood Disorders I have a feeling the screenshots are out of order. So I’ve included a link to that article the Wikipedia article in the Webster dictionary definition is an excellent excellent example of Hypochondria. Again, if someone were telling you all your symptoms were just anxiety like I'm sure some doctor has, you'd have issues with it.
You guys are being hyopocritres. __________________ Ridin' with Biden |

From the test results it sounds like you are concerned about polycythemia vera which is where because of the testosterone, your body is making too many red blood cells. This is why it’s classed as a cancer although it is not malignant and with treatment it won’t affect your prognosis or lifespan.
Generally the treatment is phlebotomy (basically taking blood). Because the high number of blood cells means your blood is thicker it may increase the risk of blood clots (which is why you may be warned about heart attacks/stroke) so they may also give you anticoagulants to reduce the risk of clots forming. To all those posting about hypochondria, just because the OP has previously admitted to having health anxiety doesn’t mean that this is all imagined. If someone posts about abnormal blood results and their fears about it, it is really unhelpful to tell them that it is all in their head. |

I googled what the 3 blood levels being high meant last night and then I saw blood cancer which sounded super scary. So I was too scared to read anymore about it especially about the survival rate.
Thanks for the info and relief. __________________ Ridin' with Biden |

I had Covid last month. I also had all 3 shots, but was not good about wearing a mask. Luckily my symptoms were mild. I hope yours are too.

Ugh! My son had all 3 shots, wears a mask without fail, has been extremely cautious- and caught covid. He was mildly ill for only 2 days, though. I hope you, too, have a mild case that passes soon.

How is it hypocritical to disagree with your question I The Reason I posted all of the screenshots if I know if I post the link you wouldn’t read it or he would skim it and pick and choose what you thought fine. And I’m not being mean I’m just being realistic I’m the same way sometimes. These are all of the conditions and symptoms associated with blood cancer that could be other things. So what you were looking up you were looking up with the intention of confirmation bias. Proving that you are correct and you do have blood cancer. If you were a doctor or a researcher or somebody specializing in cancers may be able to understand your concern but it sounds like you were just sort of googling and it coming to a decision based on what googles algorithm says you have. I just want to add the previous post I made and posted before I had finished reading what other people had posted and that mountaindewd said she has Covid. What I do want to say as I believe in her symptoms, and things that she is feeling. I believe they are real, not in her head, and then a doctor should take her seriously and get to the bottom of it, if it wasn’t Covid. I have experience in on my own many doctors who dismiss any type of minority or a different person without even really listening. I hope this isn’t the case for mountaindewd. I don’t believe and I can include myself in this in googling symptoms that are associated with big giant diseases or rare diseases. You start out looking for why you have aches and pains, and all of a sudden in one article at suggest a cancer season start googling your symptoms associated with that cancer and those are the results are getting.

I don't have covid after all the freaking out the ER did. But I do have something called Atypical viral pneumonitis which is an inflammation in my lungs. Its a type of viral thing. But like covid you basically just have to wait it out and let it pass. Take tylenol and stuff. Unlike covid it is not contaigious so I can go to my therapy appointment tommrow and my ultrasound on Thursday.
The doctor is very concernered about my kidney function and says its not at a good level for someone my age. So he's reffering me to a kidney doctor. So yeah. Legit medical stuff is going on just not what I thought it was. __________________ Ridin' with Biden |
