So on top of a burn my a1c was higher than normal rate today AND I have borderline glaucoma in my right eye and I have to see a specialist

Oh, wow. I am sorry about all of that. The good thing about glaucoma is that it is easily treated when treatment is started early on. Just involves putting drops in your eye. And many times, it's just a wait and get it checked out again in a few months.

Are you on any medication for pre-diabetes?

Not. She wanted to check my a1c bc I take risperdal. Yay psych meds!! Also I have family hx of diabetes
