I still get up 3 or 4 times a night to use the bathroom though. I have tried going to bed earlier and later but 8 works the best for me. I go and see my pdoc today and I am going to see about a new sleep medication. Hope he gives me something good that works. If not I will seek out a new doctor. I like this guy for his personality but the way he has handled my medications since I started seeing him does not impress at all.

Oh. meh - if the guy isn't handling your meds well, find a new prescriber. I prefer going to bed early, too. My husband comes to life at 9p.m., right when I'm getting really sleepy. He's an all-nighter, I'm not. One of the reasons we don't live together.

My spring-green bamboo blanket, which due to a bunch of hassle won't cost me anything, is finally out for delivery!

Yay! 😃

I finally relented and ordered mens leather sandals. I much prefer their sandals to woman’s. My last pair lasted me about 12 years and I wore them all the time in Texas. In Minnesota I mostly wear crocs. But they are hot in the summer. So I found a pair of leather sandals on a try before you buy option.

I hope everyone has a peaceful day today. Hugs to all.

Jennifer my heart breaks that your stress level has hit you so hard. I’m pleased that you’re able to see that you indeed have made positive changes in your life. That’s HUGE awareness.

The heat and humidity are shockingly high here too. We jumped from 40’s and 50’s to 90’s with humid conditions. Thank goodness for AC. This is August weather.

Oooh that sucks your temp has gone so hot far too early in the year. It’s just so miserable with the humidity.

So I have this eating problem and wondering if anyone here has ever heard of what this is? I get spasms in my esophagus sometimes when I eat and it is so painful. Sometimes I throw up but mostly it’s just painful. My drs have done a bunch of tests and said there’s more tests they can do but have ruled out a lot. It seems worse when I go a long time without eating. Like today all I ate was cereal this morning then for supper I had Chinese food. I did get general Tso’s so maybe spicy is a trigger? It’s just so painful and tonight it lasted for for a while. I can go weeks and be fine then this. I don’t really want to undergo some of the tests they’ve brought up. Has anyone heard of this?

Have you been checked for esophageal stricture? It's unpleasant but is treatable.

Yes. That was one of the things they ruled out. I’ve had scopes from both ends and they ruled out cancer, ulcers and a bunch of other things I had never heard of. And to be honest I played this down in the doctors office when I saw him because the tests sound awful. But the pain tonight was so awful. It’s been weeks so maybe I just “forgot” how painful it is?

I'll think about it and see if I remember any more from training years ago. My aunt has esophageal spasms but I think that's a non-specific diagnosis that she doesn't want to get checked out more, probably because you're right, the procedures aren't fun.

On the other hand a procedure that tells you what is wrong might be worth some discomfort? It sounds awful.

Your right. I’m second guessing my stance now.

Well I slept from 3am until about 5:30. It seems like every other day I must take seroquel in addition to my regular meds. I fight against it because I’m so groggy upon waking but I can feel a little bit of a rise in energy and my thoughts are racing a bit as well. Sleep is key, I can’T risk my stability so soon!
