For the last I don't know, week maybe I've been getting these stareing spells where I remember a movie or something and I just sit and stare and think about it until I snap out of it. I know my injections can cause me to be at an increased risk for a stroke. But isnt this also a symptom of bipolar? It literally just very recently started and all my meds are the same. I just had one now about the movie Forrest Gump.

@Mountaindewed, I have been doing this all my life. I don't consider this a problem. I feel that it's a blessing. Things like this give me more reasons to love my brain. I think, in spite of my mental problems, I'm very lucky to have my brain. Is it possible for you to enjoy these moments?

So long as it doesn’t happen when you’re driving you should be okay. Stay safe.

I am not diabetic but when I started having those type of spells, I was concerned that it was low blood sugar or something. What I experienced never was diagnosed and became less an issue. I think it might be physical more than mental. I think. My issue was too much alcohol in my diet.

And also you have changed your chemistry, right? Even from certain foods maybe? So maybe this new experience is a gift because of that? In a way, that's like saying you have made the right decisions? And I should let you know I've never had an accident because of this blessing.

Funny story. One of the things I have a major stareing spell about is the movie My Big Fat Greek Wedding. I had a shower spell yesterday where I spent like 10 minutes just spaced out in the shower thinking of it. The movie has been on my brain nonstop. Then today they announce that a 3rd one is coming out.

I saw the first one. It is a really good movie. And I saw Forrest Gump too. A wonderful movie. Maybe your brain likes the movies & keeps them in a special library so you can see them again in your mind. Well, at least, that's the way I think my brain does it.

I have! It was terrible before...right decisions but still needing to make more. Or, I never try forgetting plus need to keep going forward.

Man. Documentation is tedious and I feel stressed. I know I’ll get better though. I learn how to do group therapy notes later today so I’m excited! I get my work phone too later. Now I gotta keep up with 2 lol

I keep a picture I made in art therapy at ip and framed it. I keep it in my office to remind myself: where
I’ve been. Where I am. And where I’m
Going!

I've always had those "spells" when I space out. If I didn't force myself I swear I could stay that way all day. I am pretty sure that meds do increase the incidents.

I just spaced out for a bit and had the weirdest memory of a song called Beautiful Girls and how we werent allowed to listen to it at a treatment center I was in 2008. Every time it came on the radio the staff turned it off. I don't really remember the song although if they made us turn it off it was probably pretty bad. Man I havent thought of that in probably 10 years and it just randomly came back to me
