I keep on having dreams about middle school and high school, and about eating food. I can tell I'm in the second half of my life because of the nostalgia dreams.

I’ve been referred to the sleep clinic because I keep sleeping way too much and feeling extremely tired during the day. It’s not helped by the fact I act out my dreams and startle myself awake loads of times per night.

Anxiety and worry keep me from sleeping well or deeply and tossing and turning all night.

This weekend I woke up at midnight both nights and at 1AM I had my first meal of the day. Then I got back to sleep a couple hours later until 7:30. Not my ideal schuedle so I'm hoping to fix it soon.

Urgh it’s 3:30 and I have to be up in 2 hours…
I’m so stressed, I keep just thinking about things I need to do! I’m making a plan tomorrow to work through some things on my list! |

I apparently have diagnosed insomnia according to my pdoc. I don't know if I agree with that. Lately I seem to just sleep in 2 shifts and I wake up because I'm hungry and which is another issue besides insomnia. I've never gone a full night without sleeping, I've always gotten at least 3 hours a night.
Lately I've been up during those twilight hours or whatever its called between 11-3 and I listen to my music and drink a soda. I think that may just be being a night owl. Sometimes I enjoy it. Other times its frustrating. __________________ Ridin' with Biden |

I’m awake again and it’s after 2am.
I’m feeling very stressed again. I need to do more work tomorrow. I’ve got my presentation on Wednesday, I’ll be glad when that’s over. It’s all a bit stressful to be honest. I don’t know how others cope, but obviously I’m not doing a very good job |

My brain feels like it’s on fire.
It won’t stop! I feel so sensitive to everything right now and everything is stressing me out or irritating me. I might go play my mindfulness app. |

Since my seroquel increase my sleep has gotten a bit better. My pharmacy sucks though. My pdoc prescribed me 200mg of seroquel to take scheduled and 100mg prn. I HEARD him call in the 100mg prn and for some reason my stupid pharmacy only gave me 30 50mg tablets. Idiots! Seriously! If I run out (which I will) and they have an issue with me getting a refill I'm having them call my pdoc's office.
Im thinking about switching pharmacies because they can't seem to get their shyt together. I get my meds bubble packed and have had months where they "forgot" to include a dose of my diazepam or gabapentin. It's never the Lamictal or the seroquel... always the diazepam! __________________ The darkest of nights is followed by the brightest of days. |

Well now, as I have always tended to be a night owl and early bird combined! I have managed to add 600 words to a book I am almost finished writing. I can't wait for the editing-proofing to start... not

It’s the middle of the afternoon but because I’m on nightshift I should be asleep. I was incredibly tired last night. So I really need to sleep. I might go and eat something then try sleeping again. |

I never fully woke up today. I slept all last night. I had coffee. Which I'm not supposed to but it was an iced creme matcha which aren't too bad. I took an hour nap. I can feel my exhaustion down to my bones. I'm hoping its still just med side effects and nothing else.

It’s 4:30am and I have to be up in less than 3 hours. I might be able to nap on the plane tomorrow.
I’m not really sure why I’m awake, I don’t feel my overly stressed normality is too bad, I’m just wide awake. Hopefully I’ll get back to sleep soon. |

Hey folks! I remember this thread!
It sounds like y'all are discussing all sorts of sleep issues though and not just insomnia. would that be an accurate assumption? I know I've posted here before. I had a couple of bouts of literal insomnia but mostly, I have trouble getting to sleep or getting enough sleep...or as my doctor likes to remember it as, too much sleep. He's even "diagnosed" me with hypersomnia/hypersomnolence. Basically though, my trouble was getting to sleep and sleeping through the night to get a solid 8hours (or 10?) or 5 hours straight sleep. I would sleep at 2am and wake up at 12pm. I would still wake up tired from all the times I woke up in the night. Today, however, I've been aiming to wake up at 10am, no matter what (sickness stuff excluded). And so I aim to go to bed by 12am. Was working on this for like 2ish months. Have had mostly success (after like 2 years of getting yelled at to "get on a schedule [this schedule]"). Today was a super early morning and I couldn't sleep last night until 2am again due to excitement about hosting company today. I hope I can get back to the "schedule" again by tonight or tomorrow night. __________________ Celexa (Citalopram) 20mg Levothyroxine .75mg Liothyronine 5MCG (2x daily) Probiotics And a whole slew of vitamin and herbal supplements. |

What genre is the book you're writing? I'm also working on a novel.

Well, just about 4:30am here and I'm finally starting to yawn. I'm fairly certain my mother is going to be here in about four to five hours.
