Today has been quite an up day for me (so far) after several truly ghastly (and quite scary bad) days. This heat in our house is not helping at all. I stay away from the weather forecasts (etc...) but papa bear has just informed me the heat will become much worse for some time. Struggling to put up with the volume and intensity of scary bad thoughts...(and other symptoms) (as some/many may know meds have made things worse for me due to intolerable side effects, not wanting to discuss this here, just putting in a bit of background for anyone who doesn't know me)
Hugs to others who are not enjoying the heat ((( bizi ))) __________________ |

I feel like a wimp. Anything over 85 and I feel sick. We don't have A/C, humidity usually accompanies it, and I'm avoiding wearing tank tops/shorts because of self harm cuts/scars.
Hugs, Fuzzy. Cooler times are a coming. __________________ Live life for nothing but that sweet sweet melody. |

Dear Fuzzy, it is wonderful to see you! May I ask, because I am fascinated by weather in the world, what is the temperature in your location these days?
Fuzzy and Boots, I have a suggestion for you that could help at least a bit. Amazon sells bamboo fabric pajamas. They are not expensive, and come in all lengths (tops and bottoms). The bamboo fabric is very light and cool, quite silky. Today is 104 degrees (40 celcius) and extremely dry (better than humid, at least). Miserable. I have to avoid being outside because the heat gives me such a headache and after a bit I feel very odd. Boots, I grew up in a home with no a/c and it was extremely uncomfortable. __________________ |

We should be watering but we don't poor grass. 104 can't even wrap my head about how miserable you must be. ((((HUGS)))) bizi and for those of you who do not have A/C, bless you. Go see a movie we did that one day last week.I brought a sweeter because they are always so cold. Ahh, a movie theater sounds so absolutely lovely. People can't water their grass here because of the drought, so there's either a lot of dead lawns or people put in drought-tolerant landscaping (cactus, rocks, wildflowers, succulents). I'm okay inside; if I go outside I immediately get a headache and feel weird. Fortunately, David is crazy about very hot weather so he'll take my garbage and recycling out. The heat doesn't bother him a bit. Sadly, there's a huge wildfire in Yosemite, California (which is about 160 miles/257 km southeast of here). There are Sequoia trees there that are over 2,000 years old and over 300 feet (91 meters) tall. Enormous! They are in danger of burning, so all sorts of measures are being taken to try to keep them safe. __________________ |

@Fuzzybear what an absolutely comforting picture. I love that place. Thank you
I just heard on the news that the UK had it's hottest day in recorded history today. My God. Are you okay? You don't have a/c, do you? __________________ |
