Not sure what I’m hearing. I’m hearing things outside but can’t identify what. Sounds sort of like the wind but there’s no wind.

We have a wood burning fireplace and I’m seated in front of it kicked back with a calming mug of honey lavender tea. I hear the fire and an otherwise quiet house. I have insomnia and I didn’t want to wake S up so here I sit pondering life and waiting to grow sleepy.
