I've stayed like 80% of my nights with chica lately, and having a place I can sleep whenever, well, now I'm sleeping whenever.

Some nights I stay up until 4am and then sleep until 10am, last night I fell asleep right after dinner and woke up at 10pmish

I don't really have a reason to have a solid schedule other than "it's good for me." I have an appointment at 9am Monday so, can't sleep through that.

I’d say when you stay with other people you might need to somewhat follow their schedule. Are they also all sleeping any time they want, day or night, no schedule?

Nah. She's usually up 8am-midnight and I do cook for both of us so there is that part that's routine, but it's not like her being up and moving around or her being asleep makes me be up or asleep at the same time.

Yeah but don’t they want to make noise and also want to use different areas in the house? If and when I have people staying in my house, they can’t be up till 4am. Of course if they work night shifts, it’s different.

When my husband worked night he slept during the day, of course I’d accommodate that. But other than that no. Not saying people must be up at 6am in my house but they have to be reasonable. In their own homes they can do what they want.

Of course if this lack of schedule doesn’t bother anyone, then no need to change it

It's not like I'm up partying until 4am. I'm usually just laying on the couch. I'm not preventing her from making noise either. I told her she can kick me out any time she wants if she feels bad about making noise and I'm sleeping, and I wouldn't mind being woken up during the day, as it's day and I probably should be up. I'm at the point I'm sleeping through everything anyways. Before I started spending a lot of time here I would be sleeping at the library through other people fighting, EMS coming for bathroom ODs, and whatnot. I tell her she has total control over her place, and I am quiet when she's sleeping.

I do want to get a regular schedule though because it's helps both my mental and physical health.
