I know how hard it is, Hallie, even after all of this time. My mom died on September 7, but in 2005. It's amazing how many years ago it has been. She died rather suddenly, too.
Do you still have your mom? My dad is still with us, but it's so hard to see him aging so. __________________ Dx: Bipolar type 1 Psych Medications: * Tegretol XR (carbamazepine ER) 800 mg * Lamictal (lamotrigine) 150 mg * Seroquel XR (quetiapine ER) 600 mg I also take meds for blood pressure, cholesterol, and tachycardia. |

I’m
Having a hard day like every year. I have so many bad memories of me and him being abused by my step mother. __________________ Bipolar 1 w/psychotic features or schizoaffective bipolar type PTSD generalized anxiety OCD celexa, prazosin, Lybalvi and prn zyprexa and klonopin |

You're in my thoughts today. Like others have said, take care of yourself. I lost a brother in 2006, and I still have a hard time come holidays, birthdays and of course the day he died. I can only imagine what it's like to lose a parent. I mention it only to say that, like Soupe said, time passed doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things. It's hard to lose close loved ones, especially a parent. For what its worth, and I know I offer little, I admire reading your posts and seeing how far you've come and all you have accomplished. You've overcome so much and it's inspiring. Without a doubt I think your dad would be so proud of you.
I'm sending good thoughts and vibes your way. I hope that as you go through your day, you can find a least some moments of relative peace. __________________ |

Thanks guys. My car is acting up now too. I left work early to get it looked at. Censor most likely! I didn’t even go to dads grave site. I can’t. There’s no headstone even after 15 years.
