Well the truth is that I have been drinking ever since the reunion and there as well, on the airplane.
The other night I had 7 units of beer. and had a hard time sleeping. Most nights it's 2-3 drinks which shows some moderation for most nights. I have been having cold type symptoms for over a week now last week thought for sure I either had covid or strep throat, went to the walk in clinic, and tested negative for both. so that was good. He gave me prednisone for 4 days and antibiotics which I did not stay on because it was probably viral and I was getting heart burn from them. after the honey moon of the steroids masking all of my symptoms and giving me a break from them I now have symptoms worse then before. So I started up on the antibiotics again. I feel like I have a nasty cold. So again the antibiotics won't work for the common cold. Just in case it is a sinus infection???? Hate being sick....can't afford to take off work. Am going to bed early tonight to get some more sleep in. thanks for reading. bizi __________________ 150mg of lamictal 2x a day haldol 5mg 2x a day 1mg of cogentin 2x a day klonipin , 1mg at night, 4-5 peri-colace for chronic constipation multi vit,, vit c, at noon, tumeric, caffeine at noon PRN Remeron 15mg at night, zyprexa10mg under tongue, requip2mg. |

Oh, bizi. The drinking really concerns me. Do you ever have blood labs done on your liver, just to check?

The truth of the matter is that I am not taking very good care of myself.
My knee still hurts and my back still hurts. I keep forgetting to take the huge antibiotic. I have not done PT even though it was ordered months ago. It just seems like a waste of time and sleep. I forgot to take my morning meds at lunch. I am not getting to the gym and walking on the tred mill. How are we going to be able to take another big trip if I can't walk a mile? I have been sneaking drinking during the day when I have a cancellation. In the middle of the day. I will stop by fat pats for 2 baby beers. Did that the past 2 days. We went to the tap room and met friends for ladies night 50% off food and drinks for the ladies. We had not seen denise nor kelli in months. Denise wanted us to meet her boyfriend.. They are so happy with each other. He is very handsome and sweet. I like the flow nase the best of the things that I have been taking. When I did not take it I had a seriously ridiculous amount of coughing so much that I could not breath. And worried my client. the zyrtek only does so much.. I have to tell them that I have been tested for covid so they don't worry any more. today I feel fine no coughing fits I have not blown my nose at all today. my voice sounds deeper still but hey oh well. I am behind in my charting. I really need to do that.I am a month and a half behind. __________________ 150mg of lamictal 2x a day haldol 5mg 2x a day 1mg of cogentin 2x a day klonipin , 1mg at night, 4-5 peri-colace for chronic constipation multi vit,, vit c, at noon, tumeric, caffeine at noon PRN Remeron 15mg at night, zyprexa10mg under tongue, requip2mg. |

Hey there, bizi. You are such a beautiful person, so kind and so caring. You're one of the few people on this forum who ever bothers to ask me how am I doing, and comments on specifics. That means the world to me. And you do the same for others. You have dignity, integrity, and you are a class act. I would so love to see you treat yourself with a lot more care.

I feel bad today my back still hurts from the trauma 3 weeks ago from trying to lift an oak 4 drawer filing cabinet. and my left knee is hurting me from a fall 4 months ago. I am trying to get into the PT office that I choose not them. I will have to call back and explain that I need a referral for laboarde PT Maybe I will just go to the PT place early and ask them to fax a request for a referral. I have an appointment with them already on the 17th next monday. I need a referral for insurance to pay for it. my arm left one is hurting from the covid booster(got both today) and the right one is fine today from the flu shot. We will see how tomorrow is. Aren't ya glad that you asked? Ha! bizi how are you? __________________ 150mg of lamictal 2x a day haldol 5mg 2x a day 1mg of cogentin 2x a day klonipin , 1mg at night, 4-5 peri-colace for chronic constipation multi vit,, vit c, at noon, tumeric, caffeine at noon PRN Remeron 15mg at night, zyprexa10mg under tongue, requip2mg. |

Sounds like you've got a lot going on. At least the sore arms are hopefully better today although my COVID booster was sore for a couple days. I need to get a flu shot still. I wanted to do it today but I have a migraine so can't drive to town. Your doctor should should send your PT referral to wherever you want to go. At least that's how it has worked for me. Although when I had PT this summer the doctor wanted to send me to where "all her patients go" but was too far away for me to drive just for PT. I hope you can get in soon; your poor knee has been sore for way too long. Hoping today is better than yesterday! __________________ Bipolar 1, PTSD, GAD, OCD. I am sorry that you suffer with migraines. I have never had one thank goodness. Can you take medication for it? Imetrix or something like that. You're a lucky bipolar lady then; 50% of us have migraines (male and female). Nobody has figured out why yet. I take magnesium as a preventative. It works most of the time; before it was I was having migraines 20+ days per month and now I usually have 2-3. Menopause helps a lot. I can't use triptans. Most of them can't be used with an MAOI and the 2 that can't just make me sleepy. So I take ibuproferon and am blessed with a family doctor who I've known for 22 years and he gives me scripts for vicodin when the pain is too bad. I rarely take it but it is so good that he makes sure I have it when I do need it. Have a good night/day depending when you read this! __________________ Bipolar 1, PTSD, GAD, OCD. Menopause completely stopped my migraines.! I used to suffer terribly. I don’t know what the guys do, I heard it was mostly a female thing. Imatrex injections was the first med that was helpful. Now there’s more choices. But yeah I heard there was high correlation between migraine s and bipolar.

I don't know. I hope so. I know I have much more control than I used to. And there are a number of meds that work for prevention/stopping them that I can't take with the MAOI so hopefully that reduces some people's problems. I'm ok with how things are; it was so much worse before menopause. I had a list of foods I had to avoid, I needed vicodin much more often and I had migraines nearly daily for a while. Now it's barely an annoyance most of the time; I get a nasty one every so often. Right now I'm getting more because I'm not sleeping as well but I found a cap you freeze and it helps a lot. There are other natural options besides magnesium but since we don't know how the herbs interact with the MAOI I couldn't try them, just being cautious. __________________ Bipolar 1, PTSD, GAD, OCD. Menopause has helped a lot. I was told after my hysterectomy that because I'd already had symptoms of menopause and the blood flow to my ovaries was cut that I'd been done with menopause in about 5 years. That was 10 years ago so by any conservative measure I should be done. But it's hard to be sure and my path through breast issues has shown different providers have different comfort levels assuming things. __________________ Bipolar 1, PTSD, GAD, OCD.
