What’s your biggest complaint about pdoc?

I've only seen my new pdoc (Czech) once, so really don't know her well. I guess my biggest complaint at this early stage is that she doesn't speak English very well. To the degree that I ideally should have my husband there to speak for me, which is not ideal. My last pdoc (also Czech) spoke very good English, so going myself worked fine. He was a little stiff, but otherwise very good and responsive.

Do you like your psychiatrist more or less than your therapist? Why?

raging vortex, that is really rough talk from your psychiatrist.

I had some bacon on a bacon-egg-cheese on English muffin maybe four or five days ago. I always enjoy them. It was homemade since there is no McDonald's near me. Normally in the US I like the ones with Canadian bacon, but they don't have that in Czech Republic. Closest would be ordinary ham. The typical bacon I know in the US translates to "English bacon" (Anglická slanina) in Czech Republic. Czech bacon (just "slanina") is even fattier.

What is your favorite breakfast?

I’m not a breakfast person. But when I was a kid and we were going up north to the cabin we got up at 3-4 in the morning to start the drive. By breakfast time we’d be halfway there. I’d be hungry then because I’d been awake so long. I liked hash with eggs. Plenty of hot sauce.

Do you like the look of steam punk?

I do. It's a fun aesthetic, no matter the medium it's in!

What's the first video (or compute) game you ever played? If you've never played video games, what's the first one you became aware of in a big way?

I’d have to say Mario brothers. My grandfather went overseas when I was very young and got us a tv plug in with remote controls. I’m pretty sure it also had Pac-Man lol.

Coffee or tea? Which one would you rather drink most of?

Coffee, hands down. Bought a $50 espresso maker, so I can make my own cafe con leche. Studying abroad in Spain ruined me for percolator coffee!

What do you do to destress after a rough day?

Q: What do you do to destress after a rough day?
A: Curl up under my weighted blanket

Q: Do you take vitamins and what are they?

No, I should but they’re so big and I’m tired of the meds I have to take. I tried chewable but bah. I do take iron pills twice a week because I donate blood regularly.

Do you like candles for atmosphere?

Yes, but just on my dining table (during dinner) and only unscented. I usually prefer stick candles because I have nice candle stick holders. I enjoy varying the colors by season or event.

What color and/or design are your bedroom curtains? If no curtains, what do you have (i.e. blind, shade, etc.)?

The curtains are old fashioned lace curtains, they were on the windows when I moved in and I didn’t change them. They let the light in while giving privacy. There’s also a pull-down shade.

Do you think high humidity is oppressive and does it affect you mentally?

I do find high humidity oppressive. I think it makes me feel more anxious.

Do you enjoy milk shakes?

Hmm. That is terrible. And as soupe said it's VERY rough talk from your psychiatrist.

I love them, particularly with peanut butter!

On a related note, do you like ( or have you tried) ice cream with a big scoop of peanut butter?

Yes, I certainly have. I really like peanut butter. I would almost eat it on top of cardboard. I regularly just eat it out of the jar with a spoon. My Czech hubby doesn't like peanut butter, so I have it all to myself. Yes, it is great with ice cream.

Are you hungriest in the morning, afternoon, evening, or late (middle of the) night?

I’m hungriest around 11:00am each day. Probably because I don’t eat breakfast then it just hits me that I absolutely must eat something.

What’s your all time favourite sitcom - past or present?

I haven't regularly watched a sitcom for years, so it will be an old one. M*A*S*H. It combined comedy with serious drama, beautifully, and all of the characters were great. I truly cried a number of times while watching it, laughed a lot, learned a lot, grew a lot.

A song that has touched you a lot? And why?

Demons by Imagine Dragons. I’ve got some dark things that happened in my past that I will take with me to my grave. The lyrics really speak to my soul.

Where’s the last place you went on holiday?
