How does one know they're not inherently evil?

So much anger and hate in me. What if someones propose is to seem nice but they're really evil and even they don't know it.

I think that questioning if you are evil is a sign you are not evil. I think an evil person just doesn't care what they do or say.

We had a serious talk about how thoughts can't make you evil it's actions that matter. I told him I wish it was more logical and made more sense. He told me we don't need my delusions to make more sense. That would be worse. I don't even normally believe in evil but here I am debating if I am evil just for existing.

I'm atheist so I don't believe in demons.... But what if they believe in me? Could one technically get possessed without believing? And if so what does said possessed person do? I'm like 98% sure I'm not possessed just looking out for that 2%

Hmm. 🤔I mean some people do truly awful things, unimaginable things, deliberately, knowing full well they are what are called 'acts of evil' as we all know, but it's not until they actually do them that the label of 'evil' begins to be applied. Meaning if there's evil it's measured by the person's actions. But guard the mind and refrain as best you can from 'misdeeds' so you can look at yourself and say, hey I'm good bro.🙂👍 That's how I look at it.

Edit: not that I'm perfect at all, far from it, but I don't trouble myself about 'evil' because I just want to improve and do my best and not hurt anyone or anything. That's it really.

True, but you're certainly not the anti-Christ. If you were abused as a child, then that would explain strong anger and hate. Borderlines can be that way at times. (I haven't looked at your profile here.)

So angry 😡 H isn't doing well either. I'm convinced he's going to divorce me. He even dropped out of my nephew's wedding in April. Keeps saying it's not fair to my nephew and I deserve better. I view it as one more thing that my h will hold against himself, forever. My dog wouldn't leave him alone and it's now all 3 of us on a twin mattress.

Possible trigger:

I want to show how I feel on the inside , on the outside

but I'm taking my thorizen but I'll be out soon. H wants me to get my meds but not his. I feel weird going to urgent Care and asking for psych meds. Not even knowing if we can pay for them. At this point if we don't do something fast one of us will end up in the hospital or worse. I really don't know what to do.

How does one know if they are not inherently evil?
In my personal opinion, there is no good or evil. These are terms that humans use to judge how they see each other on a societal scale.
What is evil today may be good tomorrow.
What is good today may be evil tomorrow.
Personally, my answer? Staying true to yourself and carving your own path is what is most important.
Do not stress about what other people believe to be a standard. Remember that the person who is most familiar with you - is yourself.
