What happens to you when you have mixed episodes? I used to get agitated and depressed at the same time or have racing thoughts/depression at the same time. And nothing helps.

Mixed episodes suck I’m sorry you feel this way. I have a low mood with racing thoughts too.

Really, a mixed state feels truly bi (2) poles (opposites) to me, but at the same time. Usually, ecstatic/deathly.

It's hard to tell for me, it seems my thoughts always race. As in, thoughts come very fast and tumble one on top of another. But I don't think medication has ever helped that, at least not much. Maybe if the prescriber would actually prescribe a higher dose it would help

I feel very agitated. I pace aimlessly and furiously a lot and don't sleep. My mind feels chaotic (racing thoughts like everyone else said). My hallucinations turn very dark and my paranoia gets cranked to 100.

I have been having some horrible mixed episodes the last couple of months. I get my mania, grief, and depression mixed lately, and it is like living in hell for me. I had not had si ideations for years until after my wife passed away, now it is eveveryday. I wish I could make it all go away.

I have racing thoughts, high energy, anger issues, paranoia, psychosis, intense emotions (like crying). Really just unstable. It's bad.
